The Vermont EMS Conference is Back!
After a brief hiatus, the annual Vermont EMS Conference returns - now proudly presented by The Larner College of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine, in partnership with The Vermont Department of Health Division of Emergency Medical Services and The Larner College of Medicine Department of Surgery. This revitalized event will bring together EMS professionals from across the region for dynamic education, hands-on training, and networking. Join us as we continue the tradition of excellence in prehospital care education – We hope to see you in Burlington Vermont.
Share Your Expertise – Become a Speaker!
We are seeking dynamic and experienced speakers to present engaging educational sessions covering topics relevant to EMS practice, including but not limited to:
Clinical Topics: Medical emergencies, cardiac care, airway management, trauma, mass casualty incidents (MCI), pediatrics, emergency preparedness.
Of Special Interest: Case-based learning, opioid response strategies, behavioral and mental health emergencies, regional systems of care, stroke/trauma/STEMI.
Education and Leadership: Education: Best practices in EMS instruction, scenario-based learning, portfolio development, mentorship, and leadership strategies to support the next generation of EMS professionals.
Session Format:
• 30-minute presentations: 25 minutes of presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A
• Pre-Conference workshops: 4-6 hour in depth workshops
Speaker Qualifications & Benefits
• We welcome instructors of professional caliber with previous speaking or teaching experience who can deliver high-energy, interactive, and informative sessions to an engaged EMS audience.
• We welcome new speakers who wish to develop this skill set and want to help educate their colleagues

Vermont EMS Conference Mentorship Program
Have you ever wanted to teach at a conference but weren't sure where to start?
The Vermont EMS Conference is excited to launch a new Mentorship Program designed specifically for novice lecturers ready to take the stage for the first time.
We're inviting EMS providers, educators, and clinicians with a passion for teaching to apply for this unique opportunity. Selected participants will be paired with experienced mentors who will help guide them through the process of developing and delivering a 30-minute, case-based lecture to be presented at the 2026 Vermont EMS Conference.
